- Supply to online retailers;
- Supply to shops and marts;
- Customer service;
- Product information;

3. Product Sourcing
Al Harmain Dates sources date products through its supply arrangements, which may include trusted farms and suppliers in Madinah and, where a required variety, grade or quantity is not available through direct farm sourcing, selected stock obtained through appropriate auction or wholesale channels.
Any statement regarding origin, farm sourcing, auction sourcing, factory processing or other supply-chain information applies according to the relevant product, batch or consignment.
We do not intend general website descriptions to represent that every product, variety or individual package necessarily passed through exactly the same sourcing channel.
4. Processing, Packing and Storage
Relevant dates may undergo processes including:
- Selection;
- Sorting;
- Inspection;
- Cleaning;
- Processing;
- Packing;
- Fumigation or pest-control treatment where applicable;
- Cold storage; and
- Inventory-controlled storage.
The precise process may vary according to product variety, supplier, factory, batch, moisture level and import requirements.
5. Phytosanitary Documentation
Relevant imported consignments are supported by applicable Phytosanitary Certificates where required under the relevant plant-protection and import procedures.
Such certification relates to the consignment to which the document applies.
A phytosanitary certificate should not be interpreted as an absolute guarantee that every individual naturally grown fruit will be physically identical or completely free from every possible hidden agricultural defect.
6. Fumigation / Treatment Documentation
Al Harmain Dates also maintains applicable fumigation or treatment documentation issued in connection with relevant consignments by the exporter/factory in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
A Fumigation Certificate or Treatment Certificate is distinct from a Phytosanitary Certificate.
Each document shall be relied upon only according to:
- Its actual contents;
- Issuing party;
- Applicable batch;
- Consignment;
- Shipment; and
- Scope.
Al Harmain Dates does not represent a privately issued document as a government certificate unless the document itself establishes that status.
7. Customs and Import Documentation
Relevant imported goods are processed through applicable import and customs procedures.
Where applicable, Al Harmain Dates may maintain documentation relating to:
- Customs clearance;
- Import duties;
- Taxes;
- Government charges;
- Goods declarations;
- Invoices;
- Packing lists;
- Release documentation;
- Shipping documents; and
- Other applicable import records.
Claims concerning import compliance apply only to the relevant shipment or consignment supported by the applicable records.
8. Documentary Evidence
Where reasonably required in connection with a genuine complaint, legal proceeding, regulatory inquiry or formal investigation, Al Harmain Dates may rely upon relevant records including:
- Phytosanitary Certificates;
- Fumigation or Treatment Certificates;
- Customs documentation;
- Import records;
- Supplier/exporter records;
- Factory documentation;
- Cold-storage records;
- Inventory records;
- Batch records;
- Courier tracking;
- Dispatch information;
- Payment records;
- Customer communications;
- Photographs;
- Videos; and
- Electronic system records.
Such documentation may be submitted to a competent court, Consumer Court, food authority, customs authority, plant-protection authority or other legally authorized body where appropriate.
9. Natural Agricultural Product Notice
Dates are naturally grown agricultural fruits.
Accordingly, reasonable natural variations may exist between individual pieces and batches, including differences in:
- Size;
- Shape;
- Colour;
- Moisture;
- Texture;
- Softness;
- Firmness;
- Skin;
- Wrinkling;
- Sweetness;
- Seed size; and
- Natural sugar crystallisation.
Such natural variation does not automatically establish a product defect.
10. Internal Agricultural Defects
Because dates develop naturally on date palm trees, some internal agricultural defects may not be externally detectable without opening or destroying the fruit.
As more fully explained in our Terms & Conditions, isolated evidence of previous internal insect-related agricultural damage may occasionally occur despite reasonable sorting, inspection and treatment procedures.
This statement does not mean that live or widespread infestation is treated as acceptable.
Widespread live infestation, unsafe contamination, abnormal mould, serious deterioration or other genuine food-safety concerns should be reported immediately.
11. Product Photographs
Product photographs displayed on our website, social media or advertisements are intended to represent products as accurately as reasonably possible.
However, actual appearance may vary due to:
- Natural agricultural variation;
- Harvest;
- Batch;
- Photography;
- Lighting;
- Screen calibration;
- Packaging updates; and
- Product moisture.
Product photographs are not intended to guarantee that every naturally grown piece will be visually identical to the photograph.

However, occasional:
- Typographical errors;
- Technical errors;
- Stock discrepancies;
- Pricing errors;

Product-specific instructions take precedence over general website information.
16. E-Commerce and Payment Information
For prepaid orders, a customer's card, bank account, Easypaisa, JazzCash or wallet showing a deduction does not, by itself, establish that Al Harmain Dates received the relevant amount.
The payment provisions contained in our Terms & Conditions apply.
A transaction is ordinarily treated as successfully paid when the amount has been received, credited, settled or otherwise confirmed at the merchant/beneficiary side.
17. Courier Services
Al Harmain Dates may use independent courier and logistics companies.

- Customer conduct;
- Applicable storage requirements; and
- Applicable law.
Detailed provisions are contained in our Shipping Policy.

Returns, replacements, exchanges and refunds are governed by the Refund, Return & Exchange Policy made available on our website.
Nothing in this Legal Notice independently removes or reduces a mandatory consumer remedy.
